Every New Orleans AI workshop is built from scratch for the organization that books it. We start by understanding your team's current experience level, your industry context, and the specific AI challenges or opportunities you're facing. Then we design a session that addresses all of it.
Participants don't sit and listen to a lecture about AI. They work with AI tools in real time on tasks drawn from their own jobs, and leave with skills they can use the next day.
What workshops cover
The specific agenda depends on your team, but most workshops include some combination of:
- How AI models work, in plain language, so people understand what they're doing and why certain approaches produce better results
- The current AI tool landscape: what's available, what's good at what, and how to choose the right tool for the right task
- Hands-on practice with real tasks: information gathering, content creation, data analysis, summarization, workflow automation, and more
- Effective prompting techniques, moving beyond basic prompts to get consistently useful, accurate results
- Personalization: setting up AI tools so they understand your work, your role, and your preferences
- Practical limits and judgment: knowing when AI helps, when it doesn't, and how to verify what it gives you
Workshop formats
We offer several formats depending on your needs and schedule:
- Half-day intensive. A focused 3-4 hour session covering the essentials. Ideal for teams that need a strong foundation quickly.
- Full-day deep dive. A comprehensive program with extended hands-on practice time and more advanced material.
- Multi-session program. Spread over several days or weeks, allowing participants to practice between sessions and come back with questions from real-world use.
- Executive briefing. A 60-90 minute strategic overview for leadership teams that need to understand the AI landscape and its implications for their organization.
Who it's for
We work with New Orleans corporate teams, professional associations, nonprofit organizations, academic departments, and government agencies. The workshops scale from small groups of 5-10 to larger sessions of 50+, though smaller groups get more personalized attention and hands-on practice time.
Workshops are delivered in person in the New Orleans metro area, including downtown, the CBD, Metairie, and the Northshore. Virtual formats are also available for organizations outside Louisiana.
